UK minister calls for ‘longer pauses’ in Gaza conflict

The Foreign Office minister was updating MPs on British requests to Israel after it was attacked by Hamas.

In reply, shadow foreign secretary David Lammy said the number of Palestinian civilians being killed was “intolerable” and “Israel must make changes” to how it was fighting the war.
